Where were the men that were always with him? Those nice men that held him when the noises became too loud. That were always there asking how he was feeling. Most of the time, they were sad. Sad

That was nice. An interesting AU, I don't think I recall the first story though. I'm curious just what the voices are, and whether Ez will ever get 'better'.

I like this AU, I'm glad you continued it and I'd be very (extremely) interested in seeing more. The interaction was the best part, for me, I think. It's skillfully done keeping it poignant and emotional without getting maudlin or over-dramatic.

Some of the lines in there remind me of an episode of Firefly with River, was that part of the inspiration for this Ezra?

The inspiration for this piece and the first story was from Firefly, because that series is pure breathetaking. And I love my fandoms so much that I love to get inspiration from them as well. :D
