I didnt know about the original posters, so it's nice to see how closely the film-makers have stuck to them. Everything I see about this movie makes me less worried about the film. I know there will be no way the complexities of the book will translate over but at least it looks like Snyder has some respect for the source material. This is a good thing Love the South Park Watchmen
Snyder and the actors involved have done a lot to put my mind at ease about the film version. There's one or two things still lurking, that could be a product of misdirection, misinformation and outright lies, coupled with conflicting reports, that I'll have to wait and see the film itself before I know for a fact whether they are true or not.
Mostly to do with the method by which the end game is carried out.
I'm also mindful that the studio want a two and a half hour theatrical cut, which Snyder is fighting against. Guarenteed, however the theatrical film plays out, the meatier, fuller version will be released on dvd later in 2009 - and that'll be the definitive film adaption :)
