Aww. Your story has such a wonderfully nice breezy/summery sort of feel about it- quite lovely, really. Also, I think you've definitely captured what I like about the H/L ship so much in canon- all that sweetness and marvelous potential.

Thanks! :) I think that's what I enjoy most about this ship, too - the potential. I find it a lot more interesting to write about the potential, the building up to a potential romance, than than the romance/fluff itself.

And that is the cutest icon ever. :D

Exactly. The build up to a pairing always excites me more than it does when the pairing's already happened as well. (Although, I'm completely open to H/L happening in canon :D)

On a side note, you mentioned how it's hard for you to see Harry and Luna together in a sexual sort of way- and I'd have to agree on that count too. I can't read smut yet or anything, but even then, I think it would be awkward for me to read about them in that way, you know? It really doesn't seem to fit the "spirit" (for lack of a better word) the ship gives off. Do you feel the same way, or is a different reason for you?

I think it's close to the same thing. I don't really have trouble reading hot smut for a pairing like, say, H/Hr, because we know from canon that they can bring out intense, explosive emotions in one another. But there's definitely an innocent, serene quality to the H/L relationship as it exists in canon now - Harry is the intense one here, and Luna typically has a calming effect on him. Obviously, if they hooked up long-term, sex would enter their relationship at some point, and who knows, maybe Luna does have a hidden kinky side just waiting for the right guy to bring it out. ;) But somehow, reading about sex between them just seems... intrusive, for want of a better word. I'm not against smutfic for them, I'd just be ( ... )

I liked it. I wish he had confided in her more, though. I think he should. She's the only one I know of he could confide in who wouldn't either try to plan his mission for him, try to talk him out of it, or look horrorstruck.

Agreed. And yes, Harry should confide in her more, silly brooding boy. ;) I'm just not sure he was ready/able to here, though.

For some reason, 'sitting' in that context doesn't make sense to me. Is there an explanation? (That is, am I just ignorant? XD)

Other than that, adored it! Except I had this weird image of Luna being killed on the walk home--oh no! ♥

Hmm. I guess I could/should have put 'while sitting your NEWTS'... I've often referred (or seen others refer) to taking an exam as 'sitting' the exam. Does that make any more sense?
