Lastnight (think "lastday", a la Logan's Run) was fun, but more than a little wistful. We went back to the ridiculously good restaurant (Castaway) and ended up spending even more there than last time, due to J's decision to buy a $40 bottle of wine, which we later finished off on the beach while watching the sun set... since we were out of tequila ( Read more... )

I'll post more either from the airport, once we're there (they have free wifi) or once I get home. I just wanted to get something in quick before I lay down for about four hours and change.

J wanted to go to a bunch of "local" attractions while we were down here.... so we did. Went to Cape Canaveral to see Kennedy Space Center for the second time in my life. It was definitely worth the 2+ hour drive to see again. Amazing and inspiring. Also went to see the MOSI and the Salvador Dali Museum the next day. All of which I was glad to have ( Read more... )

Just a quick post to say I've arrived in Tampa Bay.

Had a fun moment on the hotel's beachfront... they have a sandy spot with a table shaded by a palm frond sun umbrella overlooking a very nice view of the bay.
