You don't know me but... :coughs: I found this fic by googling ZL fics. ;; Hope you don't mind if I leave a comment. ;.; Because damn, it's gorgeous. <3<3 I'm... admittedly not a Shiba fan though he and Chika are... probably the most canon pairing in the series? Yeah.
But oh, your Shito is to DIE for. *_* You have him down so well, and how he does not like Shiba, and more importantly why. XD; Chika's subtle vulnerability was played out wonderfully too. The dialogue was spot on. As was how world weary Shito was. First time for Chika to be betrayed but Shito’s been there, done that before. ; Rawr. That was lovely.
The subtle UST was a definite bonus too. Really made the fic for me and you have a gorgeous writing style. *__* <3 And you picked on one of my favourite scene in the series. Or, well, just after it.
… have to ask. Have you posted this to the zombieloan community yet? Or even the bl_zloan? Am sure people would love to read it if you haven’t. ;.;

I loved this like whoa. As mentioned above by a few people before me, your characterization is SPOT on. I love how you wrote Shito here so very much. Chika's absolutely adorable too, and I mean that in the Chika-being-his-annoyingly-true-to-his-character self way, of course~. They are perfect, and I enjoyed every bit of interaction they shared in this 'fic. I think I was even more thrilled when I first saw it implied ChikaShito. I secretly adore the pairing. :3
And the whole Shiba thing was a really interesting take as well.. Poor Chikaaa. :{
Anyhow, thanks for the great read! I'm so happy you wrote this scene in where there is a gap in the anime that leaves it too open for my liking. I loved how this bridged the parts together so nicely. <33 Lovely job.

I think you have both Shito and Chika spot on in characterization, and I'm glad that you covered the scene break between Chika in Shito's room to the next day. That gap is fodder for fanfiction ideas, and yours is really brilliant! ^^

Seriously, you did this so well. You tap into all of the conflict and the longing for "place" and you make it adorable and sexy all at the same time.
