The moments following her brief exchange with Rory had been somewhat tense for Veronika. Not in an unpleasant way, not really, but it was different. Different as in her heart was beating painfully against her chest as she pushed away from the computer sitting innocently in her home office. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that she had not seen the other woman for a while now. Or perhaps it had something to do with the fact that Rory seemed to fall back into their old routine as if they hadn't been separated from one another for some time. Not that Veronika couldn't fall back into her role just as easily, of course ( ... )

Hearing the door open, she glanced up for a moment before back down to the ground. Her mouth opened for a second, an apology already starting to form if she had came over a bit too quickly which might be true since Veronika was only dressed in a thin nightie, before she remembered her place in this affair and chose to lick her lips instead.

It seemed a bit strange, considering how much Rory liked to be in control of things, for her to allow herself to be involved in something like this but...she'd call it therapeutic. Not entirely sure how but it was, it always was.

She couldn't help leaning into the touch as her Mistress' fingers went through her hair. How long had it been since she was touched like this? Probably when she last saw the other woman. She hadn't even dared to make a move on Francis while she had been crashing at his... "Thank you Mistress," She whispered, feelings her cheeks grow warm, "I...I guess I overreacted Mistress." She added as she melted into the kiss. Oh yes, it had been a long time for anything it seemed in ( ... )

"Perhaps you did overreact. Just a bit," Veronika responded with a teasing little grin as she closed and locked the door behind them. With the lack of cold air no longer permeating around her, the shorter woman allowed herself to relax a bit more as she slipped her arms around the Scottish woman's waist, halting her movements for the time being. With or without the exchange of power between them, this was comforting, Veronika absently thought as she pressed her lips against her pet's throat ( ... )

Gasping, Rory shivered as she felt the lips move up her throat, grasping at her Mistress' hands. Humming in approval of her suggestion, her eyes fluttered open as everything was returned to reality. "No, that's a good idea and I'm perfectly happy to wait M- Veronika." She replied, just catching herself from using the wrong name. Trying to twine her fingers round Veronika's, as best she could the with bag still in it, she gave a nervous laugh. "I guess I was a bit to eager to go back there?"
