He blinked and there, a scant few inches from his own, was suddenly a small pink cheeked face with an inquisitive tilt and a firmly set determination.

"Sveiki, Toris."

Feeling himself unconsciously huddle in the couch, sensing the smaller one's determination and unsure if he wanted to deal with it right now. He sniffed slightly and blinked at the other, wondering what the other wanted.

"Hi Raivis" He answered, his voice a little scratchy. Last family get-together Raivis hadn't wanted anything to do with him. Or the one before that, or the one before that. One had to wonder why he decided to approach him of his own free will this time.

Toris wrinkled his nose, on many others it would have been a look of distaste or disgust, but on his small face it was one of pure confusion. He wanted to....play? Of all the things Toris had expected, this hadn't even been on the list.

"Why?" He shot back, just as simply, though a little less forthcoming, his eyes darting to his parents then back to Raivis.
