I wanna take you to a gay bar, gay bar~♥axkingforitOctober 30 2010, 16:39:43 UTC
“Kind of early for shots, isn’t it?” Søren shouted over the roar of fast-paced dance music and the accompanying revelry of its dancers. He grimaced as one particularly overenthusiastic dancer collided with the back of his chair, crushing him between it and the edge of the bar. Ow.
“Okaaaaay, so yeah. Shots it is.” He amended quickly.
He hadn’t been to Chueca and hadn’t heard much about it, given that his crowd of people tended towards bars and pubs with a bit more…dignity. It wasn’t bad, and it was certainly different-and-not-at-all-like the Winchester, which had been the point. He just hadn’t been expecting so many…hipsters. Or something. It was a trendy crowd, but not the sort he was used to.
This multitude had a glorious lack of sophistication, and not even in the good way.
‘Americans,’ he thought to himself in a sort of amused despair. He turned back to Sindre with a pleading grin.
“Please tell me they at least have 80-proof vodka here.”
...yeah, that'd be the song you finally STOPPED singing...talks_to_nisseNovember 5 2010, 05:24:36 UTC
Sindre shrugged. "I don't make a habit of frequenting this place either. Guess you'll just have to ask and see."
He wholeheartedly agreed with Søren's decision. This was definitely not his typical venue. The noise, the dancing, the...attire of the patrons...Sindre definitely wished they had gone to the Winchester. Or a place like it. He understood not wanting to spend time where you worked in your free time, but that didn't mean you had to go to...a place like this.
Frowning as another person slammed into them, Sindre looked at Søren. "Great choice of venue for tonight," he snarked, trying to keep his tone as non-judgmental as possible. He didn't want to fight before Søren left. "Think we can leave with all our ribs intact?"
He didn't hear what Søren ordered, but as soon as it arrived Sindre downed it.
I have a beautiful singing voice. I'll sing something else. Make a request.axkingforitNovember 6 2010, 06:26:06 UTC
"You can shut up," he retorted with a pleasant grin as he played with his now-empty shot glass, "S'not like I knew what kind of place this was anyway. S'kinda...lively, ja?"
Putting it lightly. Søren scanned the crowd, trying to spot anyone who looked over the age of 21.
He winced and spun back around as he spotted none other than the infamous Tattoo Girl mingling amongst the dancers, adding her own splash of movement to the dynamism of the congregated twenty-somethings.
DO SO. I WOULD LOVE TO RECEIVE A MESSAGE FROM YOU.talks_to_nisseNovember 8 2010, 01:47:25 UTC
"You knew it was a gay bar," Sindre rejoined. "Just what were you expecting? A wine tasting?" Taking the second shot Søren ordered, he took it, then added, "Seems about par the course to me
