Its pretty nice, standard encycolpediac format. But yeah, having half a reference set if anything is annoying. Made for library reference usage. Lots of stuff on saints, kings, major battle figures. Nothing much on pagan Gods. Frankly I'd go with the Encyclopedia of Medieval Scandinavia given the insane price.
