Not at all - I'm just used to getting comment notifications whenever someone friends, so I kind of cocked a quizzical eye now and went, "who is this?"

I'm so sorry--I just noticed your name forlornly lost in the "Also friend of" section of my profile, with all those Russians. I'm adding you to my friends list. Not that you'll see much difference; I rarely use the friends lock. (I counted the other day, and it was ten times in four years.) But still, it's the principle of the thing.
