I love it, minus the fact that the Histories does not work. I'm always messing around with the history. When is that slated to be implemented?

Yes, I feel just the same. I loved the history and am thinking of re-changing to LJ 1.1 because I loved the history function and miss it dearly.

I keep LJs for my kids and logging in and out on LochJournal is so nice I do not want to do it onsite anymore in order to change any backlogs or typos.

I love LochJournal, but I can't figure out how to change the defaults so that it doesn't automatically disallow comments. Other than that, I have no complaints -- it hasn't crashed once since I started using the latest version.

Personally I like the older version better. It seems to me that there aren't as many options in this new version. It doesn't seem as..easy. Hmm..That might just be me though :)

sounds like it hasn't logged in. After you start LochJ it will go to the status window. Read what it says in that text box.

The things you are looking for specifically is:
[*USERNAME*] Login request started
[*USERNAME*] Request ljLogin completed, processing

there will be more. If text is not being added after starting LochJ, then you need to hit the buttons next to "Login" and "Load Friends".

When I first downloaded Lochjournal, it asked for a username and password. I gave the info, filled in the rest of the info, and it started processing. Then it told me it was a bad password. How do I go back to create a new password? When I open the Lochjournal icon, I get stuck on the page, and can't access anything. Help!

Ok.. I just purposly did the same thing and this is how to correct it:

When it tries to log it, just hit "Ok" on the "invalad password" box. THen go up to "Profiles", "edit Current".

One thing I've been having a problem with is Editing my friends. Sometimes I want to change the colors and when I try to do it through LochJ it keeps telling me "This user is already on your friends list". The only way I can edit my friends colors is to do it on the website right now.
