I think he not only orchestrated the bike messenger hitting John, but he also had Molly make sure the body was taken away immediately. It was pretty suspicious that the paramedics just swooped in and loaded it on a gurney and wheeled it off before the police had come to investigate or anything. I'm sure Lestrade had a fit when he got there ( ... )

I think in any situation like that they'd rush a body like that into A&E to try to save the faller, they wouldn't assume him dead. And standing on the hospital grounds, they're not going to wait for *anything* if they have a chance to get him early into surgery. I just can't consider that he might have survived that, with his face (at the very least) entirely unscathed ( ... )
