How about you get to work on this? overlooked February 13 2009, 02:57:03 UTC
Still haven't fixed why public voice posts, under 3 minutes are still not being auto transcribed by SpinVox, which has been going on for 4 months now.

How about you not ask for stuff to be done with such a bitchy tone of voice in your comment subject?

Really. It's like LJ users think the employees of LJ have absolutely nothing better to do than listen to users bitch and moan.

I don't think I asked for your opinion nor do you know the reasons why I commented with this. *double checking* yeah I didn't ask you, so move on. Sitting at your computer looking at user's comments you can comment on. Yeah, you are awesome. Go start drama some where else. Thanks.

Thanks for all of your work, LJ! Things are looking great.

Although, I've been having trouble getting the new account settings page to save my time zone (under the "Display" tab). I keep trying to set it to "US/Eastern" but it keeps returning to the default (I click "save" and it'll be fine for a while, but it always seems to revert back to "Select your time zone" {UTC time}). Has anyone else had this problem?

Also, has the userpic limit been raised? I appear to have 197 at the moment (instead of 195). I haven't seen anything about it in LJ news (unless I overlooked it), so I'm hoping it's not just a glitch..

With a perm. account, the user pic limit auto-raises every so often (every three months, iirc).

Ah, thanks! I thought there was a strict limit to the max number of userpics, but that makes sense (I'm still rather new to the permanent account, as you can tell :)

The technical reason for the limit going up is loyalty userpics, which paid users get for having had a paid account for X number of months (1 userpic for three months and 1 more for a continuous year). The longer LJ exists, the longer someone can have had a paid account, and thus the more loyalty pics they can have. And perm accounts always have the current maximum number of userpics.

What about the wrong userpics appearing? Has that been fixed? I've submitted mine but I don't know if the problem persists.

What userpics appeared? The wrong ones or something totally different?
I had a Billie Piper one as my Default but it changed to some Suitcase thing which i never used before and never uploaded it just took over as my Default but i erased it.

But the name tags of the pic stayed the exact same as the Billie one.....

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me, twice. They were icons that didn't belong to me that took over, even though the name tags were still mine. The first time I just deleted it and reuploaded mine and the second time I sent the url of the mystery userpic to LJ support. I'm wondering whether this is a bug that will continue to happen and whether it is being looked into.
