Yes, Moats drove through a red light (sort of), but it seems like he and his family literally did everything they could to stress the importance of the situation.

Given the gun laws in Texas, I'm not surprised that the officers might be more prone than in other states to have a weapon drawn, but when you have m-er f-ing hospital security coming out to tell you to shut the hell up and let the guy go in, stop worrying about the size of your d*ck and let the guy go in!
