So, finally, we have snow in Prague lying over a week now. It is cold, it is wintery and it is lovely (and rarer with each passing year).

I apologise for a poor quality of the picture, taken by cellphone camera. I wish the contrast between the red rosehips and snow was clearer.

Man, I love this post office. I suppose I should know more about its origin, but I don't. It seems to be a place stucked in between four houses that had been there before. But maybe it was always this way (built with that idea).

Wow. Wish I saw it myself. Ever.

They are actually grey, mostly, but the ice is really turning blue... We found an explanation in the Museum of Glaciers in Norway.

I am not a sport fan, but still, Olympic medals are such a big thing that I care...

... today Barbora Špotáková won a gold medal (javelin throw) which is amazing and wonderful and  it boosted Czech people's happiness.

I felt happy about it too, until I read an interwiev with Barbora Špotáková, where she repeatedly said how wonderful it was to win ( Read more... )
