Oh, I love this! All the bittersweet stories of the past fit the characters so well, and you did it without getting overly angsty/serious.

Thank you. =) We didn't get to find out that much about his past, and I ran with that as 'him being ashamed of it'. And selling flowers = definitely very girly.
