I finally got my first tattoo three days ago, and I decided to stay small and simple for my first one. I did have some issues, so I have a few questions under the cut if anyone would mind answering.
i actually don't mind how it looks (but then again, it's not on my skin, lol). i think it looks cool like this because it's like it was printed with a typewriter a long time ago :)
I agree. I like it, it looks purposeful so even if cant be fixed, I like it. Sometimes when coloring in big spaces the color may need touch ups. He should offer free touch up once everything is all healed up. THat might help with the color being blotchy....
i have a rather large tattoo around my wrist and it will never be finished because i swell up so bad at the slightest touch of the needle. i have 11 other tattoos but my wrist is the only one that swells that up that much.
I think maybe wrists are extra sensitive, at least for some people. I know mine are..
My skin has always had reactions like that to little things (bruising really easily, swelling badly around a small cut, turning bright red when touched too hard, etc.), but I never considered it a problem. Maybe there is something wrong. :/ I'm mostly worried cause it seems to be getting worse as it heals, but I don't know if I'm just being paranoid.
You can only see it because you have pointed it out. I cant believe how blooming large the swollen area was though!
I have a tattoo about 4inches across on my wrist, and part of the design has these little teardrop ended swirls, and one of those has a small teensy gap where my skin didnt take the ink. Trust me when I say nobody notices until you point it out! Ive just never bothered to ask him to re do that tiny weeny gap because its not that much of a problem.
I agree with someone up there ^ it looks like it's meant to be typewriter font!!
