I will agree with one thing: they aren't suited to the specified age group, because they are most certainly not children's books, and I have absolutely NO idea why anyone would classify them as such. If they would just lable them properly in the first place none of this would be a problem -_-.,
I think we're underesitmating children ability to filter what they're reading themselves, and it isn't that bad to read books that are a bit "mature" for you. I was reading books for adults when I was 11, and that didn't harm me.
Besides, this book is basically written my a girl in 8th grade, so the style fits children (but it's a YA book, and they're not neccessarily children who fit into that group)

that just makes me laugh. goes against religious beliefs? really, people? the whole series is practically a public service announcement for abstinence until marriage, I don't know how much more religion-appropriate you can get. and too sexual, don't we all wish...
Book banning makes my rage. It is not okay, EVER, to ban a book. How about parents do their jobs instead and read the book with their children and have a conversation about it?
