So tonight, I was (re)reading New Moon, and I got the urge to listen to the radio, and heard Kanye West's newer song, Love Lockdown. It was crazy, it seemed to fit New Moon sooo well to me! At least, the time when Edward was away from Bella. It also got me thinking: what are some songs you LOVE that fit the books (or the movie, if you prefer,

This Love by the Veronicas. The first time I heard it, I'd just read the series for the first time and I almost cried. And I never cry. "Even if I leave you now and it breaks my heart..." and "You've become a piece of me, makes me sick to even think of mornings waking up alone. Searching for you in my sheets. Don't fade...away..."
Hello Alone by Anberlin "I feel helpless, sleeping at best, waiting for your return. Are you ever coming home?"
A Night Like This by The Cure. Yes, I'm old, I grew up listening to them. It's dark and moody, like most Cure songs. I think it really fits how Edward was feeling before he recieved the phone call from Rosalie, he was already thinking about going back to Bella. "I'm coming to find you if it takes me all night, can't stand here like this anymore. For always and ever is always for you, I want it to be perfect like before. I want to change it all."

Elephants by Rachael Yamagata: this song is absolutely hands down perfect for New Moon. Specifically chapter 11 when she has her dream about Jacob and Edward at the end. Check out the lyrics!
Sunday Afternoon by Rachael Yamagata: pretty good song that describes how Bella wants to be a vampire but Edward doesn't want to change her. Another depressing one.
Be Be Your Love. Rachael Yamagata AGAIN! Great song about how everyone doesn't want them to be together.
X&Y by Coldplay: a great Bella and Jacob friendship song haha
Blackout by Muse: Stephenie Meyer had to have been listening to this when she was writing Volterra. Perfect perfect perfect. I hope they use this and Elephants in the movie.
Just a few that I can think of off the top of my head. Check them out if you guys can!
