I think Into The Ocean by Blue October
fits really well into New Moon. The part where Bella is abt to jump off the cliff..

This Love by the Veronicas. The first time I heard it, I'd just read the series for the first time and I almost cried. And I never cry. A Night Like This by The Cure. Yes, I'm old, I grew up listening to them. It's dark and moody, like most Cure songs. I think it really fits how Edward was feeling before he recieved the phone call from Rosalie, he was already thinking about going back to Bella. "I'm coming to find you if it takes me all night, can't stand here like this anymore. For always and ever is always for you, I want it to be perfect like before. I want to change it all."

I'm actually working on a saga fanmix but here are the songs that I think fit New Moon perfectly:

Elephants by Rachael Yamagata: this song is absolutely hands down perfect for New Moon. Specifically chapter 11 when she has her dream about Jacob and Edward at the end. Check out the lyrics!

Sunday Afternoon by Rachael Yamagata: pretty good song that describes how Bella wants to be a vampire but Edward doesn't want to change her. Another depressing one.

Be Be Your Love. Rachael Yamagata AGAIN! Great song about how everyone doesn't want them to be together.

X&Y by Coldplay: a great Bella and Jacob friendship song haha

Blackout by Muse: Stephenie Meyer had to have been listening to this when she was writing Volterra. Perfect perfect perfect. I hope they use this and Elephants in the movie.
