Oh, how awkward was THAT for John to have to explain to their mother? I feel bad for both of them... But he was the best person to do it. And then he goes into TMI in front of her later. He's just going to be permanently embarrassed...

Sherlock really is sort of on and off, emotionally, which is pretty accurate.

And he knows the power of throwing a tantie...

Rebuild, great analogy on Mycroft's part.
Excellent way to end the chapter, Mycroft got the last word even if he gives in to all Sherlock's demands.
