Here's my submission to the hp_tarot comm.
The Knight of Cups - Draco
My card is the Knight of Cups, which is supposed to mean "Arrival, approach--sometimes that of a messenger; He too is a dreamer, but the images of the side of sense haunt him in his vision." I know nothing about tarot cards, nor have I ever been interested in it. I do like some tarot card designs, though. The one I like best is illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano. I first saw the card set when I was still a high school kid, and I fell in love with it, just like how my friend fell in love with a soccer geek in her class. Regrettably, as an ordinary teenager with a very limited budget, I didn't get to own a deck.
Watercolors don't scan well, especially the lighter, more subtle shades. The light blue on the curtains just disappeared, and so did all the greens. :-( Draco's face looked a bit fat. :-((
I need to get a bigger selection of yellow watercolors. No matter how I mix the colors, I couldn't seem to get the yellow I wanted.
