Thanks so much for the birthday wishes, luv, and as for the fic - what a little gem. I do believe that Angel quite shocked Spike then and the poor bloke faded away from sheer embarrassment as much as disappointment when Angel pretended he didn't mean it.

Lovely characterisation and great dialogue and so nice of you to throw in a little Spesley hint as well (not to mention the completely ungratutuitous (oh, yes!) mention of Spike's bum).
