Those are definitely some strange meteorological events, and it certainly suggests to me that a group of people are deliberately channeling their energy. I know that there are some large communities of hoodoo, voodoo/vaudun, and other alternative faith practitioners in Florida. It's possible that a group or groups are working together.
We mobilize the solitary pagan community via the interwebz sometimes to channel/focus intentions and energy. Maybe it's something like that (?).

Makes me enjoy this wonderfully sunny weather we're having in D.C. all the more. (Well, it actually rained today, but it's been really nice lately.)
