So today I tried going to the Annual 4th of July Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, but I didn't make it to watching the fireworks. It rained off and on starting from around 5:00pm. I was cold and miserable, so I left early...I stayed long enough to hear the 1812 Overture, complete with cannon fire and some fireworks. So I figured at least I saw ( Read more... )

yeah, you clearly have as much a right as anyone to not feel any sympathy for him, guess the reason Christina and I felt somewhat badly is Christina's own past (her having been through it, and my knowing at least something about it), but lol yes it was definitely cold and miserable out when the fireworks finally happened:-P

No, I understood why Christina kind of felt badly (as you had touched upon it with me before), and I would have if he was just around us in general. It was the fact that he was around and drinking that made me not feel so sorry. And you know, it's not like he was drinking a 40oz out of a paper bag, that was a 2 liter bottle of soda with who knows how much vodka. And he seemed to have a cell phone and an ipod...assuming he actually owned both and they were working, another reason my sympathy was rather limited.
