Description:
- Let's make a multi-fandom timeline together! :)
Requirements/Guidelines:
- Choose at least 5 different canon dates of events from your fandom(s). Include the name of the fandom. For example:
- 1763 - Brakebills University for Magical Pedagogy is established (The Magicians)
- September 22, 2004 - the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 (Lost)
- 2025 - Becca Franko is born (The 100)
(Yep, I'm going to use these in my entry. :D But you don't have to worry about repeats, it's okay if multiple people use the same dates.)
- The dates have to come from fandoms that have a timeline at least loosely related to Earth calendar. Most sci-fi, all period dramas, all modern fandoms (dramas, procedurals, urban fantasy, etc.), time travel fandoms and probably a lot of other genres would qualify. Some notable fandoms that wouldn't qualify are Star Wars or Game of Thrones - the fandoms where you either don't know what year it is on Earth, or where you don't even know if Earth exists in this universe in the first place.
- The date doesn't have to be exact. It can be just a year, just a month and a year, or even something like "1700s" or "1950s".
- The events can be major or minor, as long as they have a canon date.
- If an event lasts over many years, don't just write "2050-2065 - war". Choose either the beginning date or the ending date (or both) as separate entries, for example "2050 - war begins", "2065 - war ends".
- You can include as many or as few different fandoms in your entry as you want.
- You don't have to write the events in chronological order.
- Real events are allowed as long as they also happen in fiction, for example in a period drama. Something that only happened in the real world history and can't be attached to any fandom would not be allowed.
- After the end of the challenge I'm going to compile all the events as one big chronological list, to see which events from different fandoms happened at the same time. :D (I'm not going to check if the dates are correct, so make sure that they are when you post.)
- Post your list in your team thread using the following form. Don't number your entries, so that I don't confuse the number with a part of the date. :)
