Fern! I'm good, thank you for your kind words, I have really missed being here and it makes me come over all blushy that you missed me too.

Thank you so much - there are bits of this fic that I don't love, and it was hard to perfect. Writing with six male characters and trying to describe all their movements and make it clear who was doing what was tricky. I'm glad you liked it :D

I have something else on the go that I will start to post soon. In the meantime I'm really enjoying reading and cooing over everyone's gorgeous work, which is as wonderful as ever.

As a matter of fact, I should be working on one of my fics as we speak instead of poking around drinking large cups of tea and replying to comments. Up to 4,500 words already now, whoooooaaaa dolly.

Seems to be going well, but it still begs the question: what delightful form of procrastination will I devise next? Does cooking dinner count as procrastinating or do I get a pass on that one? :P

You know, when you posted your fic, I had been pondering for days...weeks??... whether to post mine, to return to being really active on here... Not that I didn't want to but I had missed so much and I can never manage to comment on everything that went on here... and I wasn't sure about the reception, whether people would be happy to see me again etc. although I hadn't really been away, they just hadn't seen me... I'm sure you know what I mean as you had been in the same situation... And when you had posted your fic and it was soooo good, I was even more self-conscious. But then I thought, I won't let you steal my thunder (*smirk* *wink*) but get myself together and post as welll... and voilà, that's what I did. :D And no, it didn't do me any harm. :-))

I did expect that people would have either not really noticed my absence, or might even be a bit put out that I had been away and not posting. I was SO WRONG and that was just all about my own lack of confidence. I forgot what a gorgeous community we have here.

Also, I tried to catch up on a bit of backlog, but I just told myself that I would probably never get it all and that was OK. Actually right now I'm realising how much ficathon I haven't read and I'm wondering when I will get time to read it. I'll do it a bit at a time, that's the only way!
