Ravin is busy it seems...

To certain values of busy. On the couch, she is sitting beside a stack of books and magazines on parenting and 'being a mother'. She peruses each one for a few minutes, they adds it to one of three piles in front of her on a low table.

Soon it will be time to start reading seriously.

There is a Neric, heading in with a bowl of apples. He manages not to drop any, this time, but gives her a bright smile as he nudges the door closed again.

He's not likely to ever be anything other than very thin, if all he eats is fruit and the occasional nuts and vegetables. But he does like apples.

"I got new shoes from the bar," he says as he carries the bowl over toward the table. "They're a lot more comfortable."

"I can get you a few more." She puts aside the last book, tugging him for a kiss.

What he has, more specifically, are sandals. Less confining than the stiff boots he had been given earlier.

He sets the bowl on the table before he returns the kiss. For all the bowl of apples, what he tastes of is strawberries.

"You're especially beautiful today," he murmurs.

Ravin smiles, nuzzling his cheek. "I am? Thank you..." She smiles brightly to Neric. "I was reading on mothering and motherhood..."
