Natalie was extremely good at acting idle and nonchalant to conceal any sense of purpose when it suited her. So, when she showed up in Jace's doorway now, she gave off the impression of just stopping by on a whim on her way somewhere else even though that was not the case.

Well, unless you counted a vague idea of heading up on the roof, later. She knocked on the door frame. "Hey. Busy?"

It didn't look like he was, but it never hurt to check.

"Oh I'm just pissing off another sister, nothing that can't wait until later," Jace said, being almost cheerful. Well his version of cheerful. "Something you need?"

"A few questions answered," Natalie replied, taking a step into the room. As an afterthought, she added, "I wouldn't recommend pissing me off."
