London is a frustrating place to be right now. I met some friends for dinner and a catch-up yesterday and found that just getting from my workplace to the place we were meeting (three streets away) was an exercise in itself

I love Scotland, though it upsets me that my long-dead ancestors could now marry regardless of gender, but I can't.

And I have to say, I am soooooooooo glad I don't live in London right now. The emergency vehicle situation has got to be horrendous.

It is just horrible in London right now. Hot, humid, massively crowded and the transport arrangements are apalling.
