At the end of 2005 I decided that for 2006, I was going to put into my memories every fic I *really* enjoyed reading ( Read more... )

You are without a doubt, one of the most generous reccers -- thoughtful, careful, passionate -- thank you so much for including me in your roundup. You really do bring me so much joy.

I love your thinky thoughts and meta, and can't wait to see what this year brings.

Ha . . . well, I don't rec often, but when I do I try to do it right ;o)

I put your fic roundup of the stuff your wrote this year in my memories under the Reading List section . . . I plan on reading all of it, because so many of the things I did manage to read blew me away, and were some of my very favorite pieces this year.

*mutual admiration society* ;o)

You know, I love how you always seem to have similar opinions to me about the strengths and weaknesses of my fic (and yours too, come to think of it). Just a thought.

I'll be memorying this. Or maybe printing some of these out and reading them in the tub today.

BTW, in the midst of Christmas insanity, I wrote the story of Jan figuring out that Faith is her mother. You were right--it deserved more than a paragraph. Then I laughed at myself for writing angsty mother-daughter fic while home for the holidays. It's here if you want it.

Definitely a cool thing. Having people whose work I respect reinforce my own opinions helps me trust myself more!

I hope you enjoy some of the ones on this you haven't read--they're all truly great.

And thanks for the heads up! I'm definitely interested! I've been really behind on lj lately so I completely missed it.

Coming from the queen of recs, that means a whole lot!

Hope 2007 is going well so far.

Thank you for this! I've read several of these, with a2zmom's What am I to you? and marenfic's Intermezzo being among my favourites.
Putting this in memories so I can check out some of the other recs here.

I hope you find it useful. I love those two fics as well (of course! that's why they're on here!)--there was a very pleasing amount of very *real*, yet also rather positive, B/A.

Eeeeeeee bookmarking! I've missed boatloads this year, and here's a list I totally trust.

Tkp, your way with words when you're reccing and feedbacking (and pretty much everywhen else, for that matter) always makes me feel like I'm the best thing since chocolate met Belgium. You're really one of the best things that's happened to fandom in the past couple years.

I *loved* reading every single fic on here. I hope you get enjoyment from it, too.

You *are* one of the best things since chocolate met Belgium. It tickles me that I can get that across. When people do wonderful things, I want those people to know how cherished those things are, but sometimes it's difficult to be sincere without also being . . . well, a little slobbery and scary. So I think about it a lot and try hard to let people know when I appreciate the things they do.

You and your writing are some of my favorite elements of fandom. Hope to see you around more in 2007!
