I've missed these updates! This was lovely, as usual. I especially liked this bit, which I think encapsulates a lot of why in this fic the relationship works so well:

The patting was really more like he was reassuring a crazy person who was drooling and couldn’t chew his own food, rather than a crazy person who might fly off the handle and kill people. Malfoy was always superior like that. Harry found it extremely comforting.

Continuity check: Malfoy said, even though Harry hadn’t touched his [chocolate], although Harry was sipping out of it a few moments earlier.

Hooray, another update. This was just lovely

"and when Harry thought of Malfoy, and the things he must have been feeling, there was no room for the monster to rise" - so spot on, being in the midst of depression can make a person rather self centred.

and this “Consider that you have no more capacity for evil than me. Consider, just for an instant-I know it’s hard-that we are equals, and what separates us is the choices we’ve made, and not . . . not the fact that you’re just better.”

I could quote so many things back at you - Harry wanting to be held, Draco's general snarkiness not to mention his breakfast - thank you for updating, much as I look forward to the conclusion I also just really enjoy the pace of this.

This was lovely, as usual. At last they're making some progress. It's great, that Draco wants to help Harry so badly, but, oohh, if he would let himself be helped, that would also be grand.
