[Here, have a message completely in German.  It is then repeated in almost-fluent-but-still-broken Italian.]

Ah, another fellow German?

I am fluent in English, so please allow me to assist you with translation if you so wish.

A translation will be greatly appreciated. I am still learning English so I only know a few words.

Simply let me know if there is anything you wish me to translate.

I do wish to warn you- the Chief of Police gave out a cryptic warning in English, implying that anyone speaking a foreign language would be treated with suspicion. If you do not speak English, it would be best to filter your words from the drones for safety's sake.

Will do~

Ah. No wonder the drones in my house have been giving strange looks. I thought at first that it was just a language barrier problem. I thank you for the translation.

Yeah, seems like they are. But surely that must be obvious those of us who aren't from here. I don't see why they are doing this. Just another annoying experiment of theirs I guess.

You're lucky you can speak some other languages at least though.

Perhaps they think we are terrorists of some sort? Someone told me that any one speaking a foreign language is to be treated with suspicion.

Mh? You can only speak in German? ... Though your accent is something I don't recognize, where are you from?

You'd think they'd all ready know who the foreigners are from when they kidnapped us. This place works in such annoying ways. I feel like a lab rat.

They probably do know. Though of course, they would like to have their fun whether we like it or not.

I'm rather curious to see what they will do when they actually declare someone a foreigner.

I believe all of us are. Though they might end up torturing foreigners or attempt to deport us; even though they very well know that we can't get out of here.

Aa, good to see you are back.

[It took a few, no, actually several, minutes for Dietrich to process this. Extremely broken and really heavily accented English is a go~ ... Though of course, I am too lazy to type out all the accent stuff.]

Glad to see you as vell. Sorry if I am slow. My English is not very gut.

[HURRAH this will obviously be the best heavily-accented broken english conversation ever. it kind of takes him a bit to understand what you're saying behind said heavy accent and broken speech, so there's a few minutes of delay on his end as well.]

I have not needed to speak English fluently in a while, either. [a small laugh and he momentarily slips back into Japanese] Such an annoyance.
