could you write without google to check facts?

i googled today for "toile" and realized i meant "voile" in a story. i had a vision of fabric in my head - but had to check the word. could i have done that with a dictionary? maybe. but google/wiki/fabric sites were so much clearer. and i got to "voile" from searching for "sheer fabric" ... i could not remember "voile" (i had "toile" popping ( Read more... )

Nowhere as near as I use wikipedia. And I know how unreliable that is. But so is google since it also works on user inputs...

I could if I could get to a library, even a small one, but then too, the veracity of my facts would be limited to that single resource.

meh, facts are overrated these days anyways, write on inspite of them.
Everyone else does.
