With absolutely no pressure, I have decided I am going to do my own Big Bang. You know, in preparation for the NaNoWriMo I'll never have time to do. Wish me luck!

Anyone out there on my flist who'd like to just amble along with me? No pressure. I'm not signing up for anything. I'm just going to try it out to see if I can do it.

Oh, this sounds great! I've just been thinking myself how I'd like to do a big bang, but the timelines of the official ones didn't fit me! What time frame do you have in mind (if any at all)?

I was going to try for 4 months. I've sort of mocked up a timeline for myself on my calendar and it seems manageable. I'm usually quite busy around this time of year, but my fingers are itching to write. I believe I can do it.

24th Aug - Complete story outline. Have 1 piece of art conceptualised.

21st Sep - Skeleton draft (1st draft) completed. Minimum 10,000 words. Establish the end.

28th Sep - 2nd piece of art conceptualised.

19th Oct - 3rd piece of art conceptualised.

26th Oct - 2nd draft completed. Minimum 15,000 words.

16th Nov - 4th piece of art conceptualised.

23rd Nov - Final draft completed. Minimum 20,000 words. Fic @ Beta's.

7th Dec - All art finished.

10th Dec - Post story.

What do you think? Will it work? I've even given myself time to do my own art for it. ^_^

Wow, you've already thought out everything in detail! ^^ That does sound doable. Hm, I'll have to think about it and consult my own schedule first, but I'll let you know in the next couple of days whether I can join in. :-)

(I won't do any art, though, since I'm really not an artist...)
