Similarly, BadM's last dance on Saturday was a waltz with me. He noted that maybe he should have tried to hold me such that my feet barely touched the floor.

I know someone who dances all the time at the Hollywood Ballroom in Silver Spring, but I take it you already know about that place and it is not what you are looking for?

They are gorgeous. Also, already occupied pretty much every night of the week.

Oh, and while I'm no actual physical help with either packing or moving, I am damn good at things like "that box will definitely not fit into that space" and "If you want that chair to fit through that door, you will have to turn it at exactly this angle and so high" and so on. It's a weird gift. Let me know if it would be useful to you.

A lot of chruchs have halls that are available to rent for a fee. How big an area, how much $ and what parameters of location are you looking at?

E.g. 60x80 min 80x120 better, Sunday evenings ideally 2x a month, under $1,000/night; somewhere in the area bounded by US 50, I97, I495, MD97 and MD 100.
