Don't feel bad; Grey's Anatomy has made me give up all unrelated social interactions on Sunday nights. I've literally gotten up in the middle of movies with friends to go to another room (at a friend's house, mind you) to watch the show. Sometimes, priorities must be set.
hey travis! on npr today, they kept using the word "conundrum' and everytime i heard it, in my mind, i saw your eyes bugging out as you said it, quoting the little girl on the ring. ha haaaa. i don't think you should feel bad about the tv, as long as you spend timein person w/ all of them. tehre's something good about being present in the moment where you are- if that moment is watching tv, it is hard to shift to a phonecall. if you're engaged in someone's company, you don't want to watch tv anyway(hopefully.) it all balances out, right? i hope life is treating you well, friend!
Awww, Maggie, I ALWAYS love hearing from you. You make me smile. And I'm glad that "conundrum" makes you think of me...that's a great memory. And thanks for your support with my insidious habits...haha. And you're right, I should try to livee in the moment moree....I haven't been doing nearly enough of that. I hope that all is well with you and we must get together sometime this summer if you have time. Take care my friend.
