Coming Unraveled

That's something you almost never see anymore:
A cassette tape, its magnetic strip, pulled completely out,
guts spilling in the streets, tangled in cars' tires and street
signs--I almost forgot that they still exist.

Thats really good babe!! And you know Im not just saying that. You should enter that in a poetry contest. It has a certain realistic feel to it. :-D

funny how you'd always see cassette tape on trees and in the street. how did it even get there??? you don't see cd's thrown around like that. who decided that it was okay to be so careless with casettes???

EXACTLY!

Now you seem to be a bit more in love with cassettes than I ever was (and I love your enthusiasm!), but there is something to that. Tapes were cool, but they are kinda messy....
