Rent money

How much does it suck that in America, the DVD of Rent is already out, and yet in Australia, it hasn't even been released to cinemas?

AND HOW MUCH DOES IT SUCK That the live show sold out of tickets like, a day before Steph tried to make bookings? Not cool. Not cool at all ( Read more... )

It's probably a good thing we didn't go and see RENT! The character Mimi was played by a 17 year old VCE student. I'm already having huge fits of drama depression, that probably would have made me suicidal.
Apart from that, it would have been a good show. It got given 3 stars in the age, so it would have been pretty good!

(But, Penny might have jumped in front of a tram...that wouldn't be good. That's only 2 stars worth of entertainment!)

No, we would not have wanted Penny to jump in front of a tram. Then again, Amanda may have followed her. We could retire to the after-life together. In rocking chairs!

They just extended the season, but it's mostly for the few days we're on Conference-Camp-Thing. I could see if I could get tickets for Saturday Matinee, but... meh. I'll have to see who wants to go.

I repeat! Seeing that show will makie me suicidal!
no joke, it will be a dismal reminder of how truely unspectacular dramatic abilities are! For God's sake, the only claim I have is being one of the creators of theatre of crap!

=D Yay! =P

Thanks for the offer but it comes out in cinemas over the next few days anyway, so I can just see if I can scrimp $10 off the parents and see it over the holidays! Now my main goal is to try to get tickets to the stage show... but they're running out fast. =(

=D I assumed you had more than just a vested interest! I found you because you had TBF listed under your Interests, among about 3 others on the whole of Livejournal... not very promising. So have you seen the version Julie Andrews directed, and how was it? I wish they could bring it to Australia. I love the show, I think it's such a cute and over-the-top, funny in its ridiculousness musical. A classic!

Oh yeah, getting off track... so you were Tony, hmm?
- I'm currently playing Polly. XD
We have much to discuss...!

Oh yeah and obviously my friend sea_shel below is playng Fay. We're just one big Boy-Friend-lovin' family around here!
