I just love that someone took the word "Gwenwood", that has been thrown around with such negativity, and turned into something positive. Dear god, we need more positivity in a very sad fandom.

Things like Gwenwood and the porn battle show that people are willing to be positive and move on into the future. It's wonderful.

True, I would prefer Gwen to be leader with Ianto still alive as her trusty 2IC (and Jack shagging his way through the galaxy to return at a later date, after which Ianto will tell him to fuck off after one "last time" shag, because he's dating Andy now),

Srsly, that is the bestest best post-CoE idea I have ever heard. If I had money, I'd write BBC a very fat check to see that happen. Oh, I would.

I don't have a problem with Gwen being the leader of Torchwood. I even think she'd be a greater leader than Jack, which I think he probably thinks too. My problem with the legacy of CoE is that all my favorite characters are now dead. Unless, of course, PC Andy joins the team. :D Wouldn't that brilliant? Omg. This thought makes me want a S4 again.

Oh, yeah, I totally have the same problems with CoE. I just wanted to encourage people to join this comm because there has been so much Gwen-negativity in fandom since CoE (which I just don't understand, because Gwen was awesome in CoE).

Having said that though, I do absolutely understand that some people just prefer to live in CoE-denial-land (I love it there myself), and as such my "GO JOIN" should really be taken as a suggestion. :)

As for whether I write that story... we'll see. Maybe I should give it a go!
