I now have glasses. I've never had glasses before. I think I'm possibly the only person on my flist that didn't - ok, some of you I don't know about ... oh, hang on, Anna? Oh, well, anyway, I am now joining the glasses-owning section of the population. Only problem is that I don't have the glasses yet, as they are in the post (hopefully, anyway).

Well, congratulations on the good vision thing, and long may it continue. I had been dreading the thought of an eye test, having too many memories of dark rooms and a creepy guy with bad breath putting his face really close to mine, but fortunately the optician I got was young and clean and pretteh, so that was all right in the end.

My hearing is usually ok, but a bit uncertain when there's a lot of background noise, and I'm shite at lipreading so even a busy pub with no music is not much fun, and the whole 'clubbing' thing is a great big no even before you get to the drunken dancing thing.

I think you would suit glasses, and quite possibly have a vague resemblance to Harry Potter, in a good way :)
