I'm at work on possibly the first laptop ever made. I've been working textbook buyback for the past 3 hours and only been yelled at once... pretty good so far. What people don't realise is that it's not the bookstore buying these books back for such a crappy price, it's the publishers. Also, I'm about ready to murder the cashier working tonight... he's the kind of kid who got beat up in high school, and he DID get beat up in high school, by Craig, the guy in receiving who has a noticeably large crush on me. This kid is annoying. And I have to deal with this tomorrow night too.

I hope everyone's gone to see 300 by this point, because it is fucking fantastic. My obsession with DW has spiralled out of control.

Sadly, I watched all of the Oscars last night... even the most boring awards, like the documentary shorts and film editing. I even watched the red carpet crap too.

Sad to say I didn't get any work done over the reading break... mainly because I was working all of monday, and Shel and F-train came to visit from tuesday to friday.

You would think that once you get past high school, and first year university, that the "creative-sounding" assignments would stop. But no, in my final year at Dal, I'm assigned a paper that includes the words "or maybe from a different planet"....

I gave blood for the first time yesterday. I know that doesn't seem like a big thing, but it seemed like it to me. I was so freaked out when I was waiting, but a) the RNs are really nice, b) you get a super cool sticker that says "1st time donor" that you HAVE to wear, c) you get cookies and juice, and d) it doesn't hurt. I've been watching the DVDs of the first season of Bones, and I've realised that they've changed some of the music. Normally I wouldn't notice something like that (since I assume other shows have changed certain songs from TV-aired episodes to ones on disc), but I download a lot of the stuff that they play on Bones because it's such great music.
