Fixing the current one. The tow cost more than the diagnosis.
There used to be two Saturn dealerships in town. I found out through disconnected telephone numbers that Saturn of Chicago was no more (according to the tow guy, the owner had been requested to sell his dealership, which is usually code for "we'd rather not sue you for the questionable things you've been doing, right?"), so the car had to go the the suburb of Glenview.
Pity. As a customer I had no problems with the Chicago dealership at all.
Don't mock the dishwasher. It led a long productive life. Besides, I'm not in a position to replace it now, so it's hand-washing for the foreseeable future.
Me, too! And it kinda kicked my "there must be a conspiracy here somewhere" brain cell (it doesn't take much to think that stuff, you know...) into gear. Not high gear, just gear. Hard to do better than that with only one cell. At least in my head. Other folks' mileage may differ. :)

At least it flat where you are. When you visit out here you'll start to understand what we're up against. It is IMPOSSIBLE to take four right turns and end up where you started. If its not I84 or I95 it is mountain track approximatly a lane and half wide. There are no secondary or tertiary roads (not in a good way).
I recently got lost in Waterbury and when I stopped at a gas station I simply bought every damn map they had. I believe I now have a road map to Greater Downtown Cairo (Egypt). I don't care it is impossible to be under-equipped with maps here.
Because of the eccentricities of the CT road system (i.e. frequent but not predictable road flooding and a bad habit of running a road STRAIGHT up a mountain) you can easily find yourself marooned. Cell phones drop out, satellite shadows are everywhere, roads change names, directions, and sometimes evaporate altogether.

You getting a new car? Fixing the old one? What happened? This post has been frustrating for me.

I'm sure there are no flaws in this theory.
