Actrually, that's pretty close to what really happend. To get the full story, pick up a copy of the latest "Captain's Table" anthology and read Capt. Shelby's story. It goes into more detail on how Soleta was drummed out of Starfleet. It's actually kinda scary how close you were.

Great story! I really enjoyed your take on Soleta's departure from the Fleet. Calhoun in your story was great, too. And Kebron, too! :D It's so good to have more people writing NF these days.

Never actually read any New Frontier stuff before, but this was enjoyable. I liked the giggling Vulcan in particular... I had no idea they EVER giggled! Is the Shelby the same one from Best Of Both Worlds in TNG?
