This was written for the remus_reads ficathon, for my moste beloved jadeddiva . She requested: "Remus' thoughts on the eve of the Final Battle". I loved the challenge and it was a delight to write. Plus, everyone's getting some action. That helps to take the sting out of the fact that the world's ending. ;)

Yay! An LB collection! May I friend you?

By the way, you saved me on a microbiology exam. I was drawing a tumor inducing plasmid and I couldn't remember half the genes that went with it. Somehow my mind wandered to Harry Potter and then to fanfic and then to some of the good ones I've read. Then I remembered LB, which also stands for the "Left Border" of the transfer DNA of the plasmid. It all came back to me. Thank you for writing uberfic.

So from now on, you will always remind me of tumor inducing plasmids. That's a good thing.

I love this. My H/G shipper heart was smiling at the mention of Harry/Ginny, and the rest of me loved the Remus/Tonks. You did a great job with Harry in particular, I thought. A combination of teen angst, adult bravery and momentarily thwarted romance. And Remus and his turnips had me giggling aloud.

Yay for the fic journal! :)

I love your writing - you and a_t_rain have turned me into a Remus/Tonks shipper.

This piece manages to combine angst and humour in a way that is very true to real life. Well done.
