I've been working on this one character (and the rest of the novel, of course) for over two years now, and tonight, I feel like I finally, really have found her authentic voice! This particular story has been read by a number of pairs of eyes already, and the feedback in general had been good about the distinctiveness of her voice, but all this ( Read more... )

You know I would really like to read what you've written, but I understand if you don't want me to read it just yet. I'm busy with school at the moment anyway, and probably couldn't give it the attention it deserves. But one of these days I'll get my hands on it. Maybe when it's published. :)

I'd love to get a critique or read, even if it's not an in-depth one. It's always nice to have a fresh pair of eyes look at what you've written to see if you're *getting it*. :)

Thank you! Yes, it does feel great to be *freed*. It's like you're carrying this huge weight around knowing you want to push this baby of art out, so when it does finally come out, even in spurts, it feels WONDERful. :)
