That tumblr is awesome as is those pears. I haven't made that exact recipe, but I've done something similar.

I love that tumblr so much. OLD FASHION! *_* If only the stuff we wore nowadays was half that cool. Sigh. And it continually amazes me how versatile pears are. I feel like I always forget about them!

EEEE FERRETS :D ♥ I saw my first one in Calgary when we visited a friend of mine who owns one. They are SO CURIOUS and get into so much trouble haha XD My friend said that their curiosity will always outweigh their caution ;)

Omg that recipe database is amazing. THANK YOU for the link I'm totally going to use it as a reference when I make food that isn't sandwiches or cereal :P

And omgggg I wonder if that pear recipe works for apples? *_*

I really wanted one for a pet for a while! My mom wouldn't let me, but I still think they're adorable and delightful. They DO get into trouble, though, lolol oh dear. FERRETS ♥

It does! The first time I made it with some apples and some pears because I didn't have a pound and a half of pears. It's better with pears imho but still AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS with apples. Depending on the size of your apples, they'll get either less or more mushy than the pears would, so if you have big apples you might need to cook 'em longer. (Also, if you are lazy/like fruit peels like I do, it works fine if you don't peel anything, either.) (Also also, like, best companion to vanilla ice cream EVER, I'm just sayin'.)
