Oh my... I loved this! While I adore Ten, I also loved Nine, and I think you captured his character perfectly through Rose's memories. I loved that you showed her hanging on to Nine, and the delicate, easily hurtful juxtaposition of her very human attachment to her first Doctor--the familiarity and the trust--and Ten's Time-Lord need to know that she accepts him at the core as the same person he was.

Thanks! And yeah, I felt that Rose would be desperately missing Nine after Ten seemingly abandoned her for Reinette, and because I was still shipping 9/Rose at the time I wrote this. It was a bit hard to get Ten's own feelings into this from Rose's point of view, but I'm happy I still managed it.
