Long time, no LJ update :-) Been lurking from my phone, watching the world news with a bit of dismay, while my own corner seems to keep knocking on okay. Trying to stay focused and help when/where I can and teach my kids to stay balanced between living their lives with purpose, but not taking themselves or others too seriously. We've given up

Robeson County. Heh! I can see the country boy talking. It seems to me, an older man. I like what is left unsaid, how we can fill in the details ourselves about the "boys".
Mirror, Mirror.
I like Kathy as a person, a child they saved in the past, who wants to become a hunter. She wants to join in, help the boys fight the good fight and I like that Dean has reservations, he doesn't want her to end up like Sam and himself. Whereas Sam seems willing to have Kathy join them. Does Dean have more compassion for her? I like the comparisons you have given us, between the three of them.
Lovely set of ficlets, bebe.
Thanks for the great read.

Oh, wow! You saw the speaker in Robeson County as a man- I can see it when I went back to look- getting a reader's take always enlightens me :-)
Your question about compassion is an interesting one isn't it? There's all sorts of levels, aren't there?
Thanks for coming over!

'think you're in heaven, but ya living in hell'
I know this is a line from a song, but I love how you took it and wrote so much from it.
We all know Lisa was just a temporary answer to an terminal problem - he needed his Sammy back.
This was smokin' though - Dean always knows how to satisfy the ladies.

I really liked the first one. The girl becoming a hunter, Dean's reluctance to let a newbie in, especially at this time. And Sam and his helpfulness, LOL.
The second was intriguing, and I liked the dialect. Last week's winner in the drabble las had something similar, a New Orleans dialect talking about Katrina.
The last was smokin' hot and ultimately heartbreaking. Poor Dean. Poor Lisa.
