I may need to get more x-rays, the endodontist says, but I will have two lead aprons, and supposedly it is all very safe, (though that assurance did little to prevent me from having a crying fit in the van after the appointment).

That should be more than safe, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as the major points are covered, you will have excellent, if not too much coverage. *Dental hygiene student*

Yeah, my GP told me once about a study done that showed pregnant women who'd had mammograms done during pregnancy had gone on to have perfectly healthy babies, because there is such a low dose of radiation. And of course dental x-rays are taken even farther away from the uterus than mammograms. Thank you for the reassurance. :) You know, I've always thought dental hygienists and assistants should be paid more than dentists; they seem to do most of the work.

Yeah. :( Good to see that his eye is okay though. Silly boy.
