Summary: Junhyung's been in love with someone he can't have --Doojoon. Now that Doojoon and his girlfriend of 3 years are over, will they be able to become a couple?

Because of Her - Chapter 2

The leader didn’t know what to do. There’s a diminutive part of him, that just wanted nothing more than to go after Junhyung, but he doesn’t acknowledge it.
“Why can’t you understand?” he whispered, more so, in hopes that somehow he’d be able to find a reasonable enough answer to his rhetorical question, than for anyone, especially Junhyung to hear.
He’s just being selfish, and he tells himself that. It’s just... he’s so used to having Junhyung be there for him whenever his world felt like crumbling down; whenever his ground was lost, and he felt helpless floating around in thin air-- unable to control anything in the poisoned gas. Those were the times Junhyung stepped in, those were the times Junhyung paved the way back for him, making sure it was strong enough to hold his body; to guard his heart, so that he wouldn’t fall again.
That’s how selfish he was, he was always ignorantly waiting for Junhyung to clean up his mess. This time, he couldn’t understand why Junhyung left-gave up. Doojoon’s been with Sooyung for 3 years. Why doesn’t Junhyung have any sympathy for him? Doojoon just doesn’t get the boy.
Having known each other, for just as long as his relationship with Sooyung had lasted, Doojoon never came to realize Junhyung was the only one that knew him. Junhyung was the only one that knew how Doojoon’s narrow mind worked. He was the only one that understood, and acknowledged the leader inside-out-yet, that wasn’t how it’d come to be, vice versa. What did he know about Junhyung? The latter could dance, rap, and was always willing to stand by Doojoon.
But was that it?
To Doojoon, it was. And he was too blind to comprehend this significant fact, he was too inobservant to see, this was the cause of Junhyung’s near-broken heart. All thanks to lack of understanding from the leader.
“Where’s Junnie-hyung?” A weary voice broke the silence, alongside Doojoon’s train of thoughts. Caught off guard, the leader jumped off the sofa,
“What are you doing, still up at this hour?” He asked as calmly as his voice would let him. Despite searching for eye-contact with the yawning blonde, he broke away the moment he does. He was trying his best to hide the obvious worry he had, over Yoseob possibly over-hearing his and Junhyung’s earlier argument.
“I heard you guys yelling,” The blonde said, reassuring the leader’s assumption. “What the hell happened?” Yoseob stepped closer to Doojoon, only to plop down onto the sofa behind the latter.
“...Nothing.” Doojoon sighed, before joining the younger boy.
The two of them sat there in silence for half an hour, before Doojoon came to realization that Yoseob wasn’t going to leave, not unless he lets him in on the quarrelling business with Junhyung, anyway.
“I..I just... I just don’t know.” He tried to start, hoping it’d be enough to get the blonde back to bed,
“You never know, Doojoon. It’s always, and only Junhyung that knows. He knows you, probably better than you know yourself even, why didn’t you try to listen to what he had to say?” The visual maknae stated bluntly, with no sign of thinking-before-speaking.
“Seob, he told me to get over her,” Yoseob watched the leader curiously, “How can I? It’s been 3 years. Why doesn’t he get that?” Doojoon lowers his head, as if deep in thoughts, but it was only to hold back, if not hide his pain filled tears.
Yoseob sympathetically wraps a supporting arm around the leader’s slightly larger build, with full intentions of comforting the other. Except, he couldn’t help the urge to think, “It’s because he loves you, you idiot.”. Immediately, he stops himself from voicing his thoughts, not wanting to overwhelm Doojoon. Yoseob was the one Junhyung depended on, they were brothers with different blood, yet their bond was stronger than that of family.
“I... I don’t know what to say.” Yoseob finally said, even if he knows exactly what to say, “Junhyung’s the one that loves you, so get your shit together and admit you feel the same!” But he doesn’t say it, for obvious reasons.
It takes a while before Doojoon gets himself together. He sighed as the train of thoughts came back to haunt him. Except, right now, he doesn’t know whether he’s thinking about Sooyung, or worrying over Junhyung, what was there to worry about? The rapper has been gone for 3 hours, it’s already 1:00 am... no it was something more. But this was a good enough excuse.
“Should you get to sleep now?” he turns to Yoseob, distracting himself from useless thoughts,
“When’s Junhyung gonna get back?” Doojoon rests his head back onto the head of the sofa, before a soft sigh escapes his lips,
“I don’t know...” he answers, with his eyes now closed.
“Do you want me to call him?”
“I..I guess that’d be best.” Doojoon decides, and Yoseob picks up his cellphone lying on the coffee table.

10 rings, and not a breath could be heard on the other line, Yoseob glares at his phone before placing it back down,
“Maybe, he’s on his way back.” He tells the leader, trying to put out the dead look, that was placed on Doojoon’s face.
“Yeah....” the older replies soullessly, his mind refusing to ease, “What do y--", a pause to refresh his words, "-do you think he’s... alright?”
“He’s always alright.” The blonde immediately assures, “It’s Junhyung we’re talking about.” Yoseob lets out a soft chuckle, causing a forced laugh and a sad smile to come from the leader.

Another break of silence, before Yoseob stands up and and sets himself straight.
"Nggh, well, I think I'm gonna c--" A small smile creeps onto Yoseobs face, when he notices Doojoon's sleeping form. "God, Doojoon, you're so stupid."
Okay, sorrryyyy, chapter 2 is stupid :( but i hope u guys' enjoy anyway T___T comment pls? and uhh, ill really try to update sooner next time, its just, school and boys and my birthday's been keepin me busy
